Donna Ruth Overstreet, 61, of St. Augustine, formerly of Palatka, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Community Hospice Bailey Family Center for Caring following an extended illness. She was a native of Mobile, AL and had lived in Palatka for the past 32 years. She had worked as the Assistant Manager of Wal-Mart in St. Augustine and was an avid Alabama football fan. Donna enjoyed the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Grady Overstreet.
She is survived by her children, Ray Shelly (Brandy) of Mobile, AL, Ramona DeLoach (Kenny) of Interlachen, mother, Ruth Aubrey of Theodore, AL, sister, Barbara Frennea of Mobile, AL, brother, James Grady Overstreet, Jr., of Mobile, AL and 4 grandchildren, whom she loved to the moon and back, Hailey and Kendall DeLoach and Kaylee and Alyssa Shelly.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Terry Wright officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:00 p.m.
