Stephen L. DaSaro, Jr., 80, of Palatka, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home following an extended illness. A native of Jacksonville, he resided in Putnam County since 1992 coming from Jacksonville. Stephen served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. He had worked as a supervisor with Florida Mining Company (now Cemex).
He was preceded in death by his wife of 4 years, Lydia Borr DaSaro and a son, Michael Lewis DaSaro.
Stephen is survived by a son, David Lee DaSaro (Lore) of Jacksonville and 2 daughters, Cynthia DaSaro and Stephanie DaSaro, both of Palatka, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
