Humberto Torres Ugarte was called home at the age of 80, on Monday, November 26, 2018. Humberto was a beloved husband, son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He is survived by wife, Gladys; sons, Humberto Jr. (Wanda), Joseph (Carmen), Luis (Holly) and daughter Cynthia (Charlie); brother, Francisco; sister, Cruz Maria; grandchildren, Valerie, Felix, Marisol, Joseph, Jazmine, Gabriel, Vincent, Eduardo and 2 great-grandchildren. Humberto will be dearly missed and remembered by all for his larger than life personality, his unbridled generosity, and most of all, for his caring heart. He was the man with a thousand jokes and even more stories.
Visitation will be from 5pm - 9pm at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen on Wednesday, November 28th. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9am on Thursday, November 29th at St. John’s Catholic Church in Interlachen with Father Pablo Fuentes as celebrant. Burial will take place in Cementerio Municipal de Isabela in Isabela, Puerto Rico.
