Amy Anne Wilkinson, 32, of Palatka, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at her home. Born in St. Augustine, Amy was a lifelong resident of Putnam County. She was homeschooled and was a 2008 graduate of Putnam Banner. While growing up, she attended St. Monica Catholic Church. Amy loved being the mother of her children and spending time with family as well as hunting, rides in the woods and over-seeing home improvement projects.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Peggy Gilmore.
Amy is survived by her husband of 9 years, Thomas E. Wilkinson of Bardin, her dad, Ben Gilmore (Christy) of Palatka, her mother, Melanie Gilmore and fiancé Leroy Thornton of Florahome, 3 daughters, Paityn Wilkinson age 6, McKynzie Wilkinson age 3 and Lyndie Wilkinson age 2, a sister, Dylan Amick (James) of California, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leota and Eugene Wilkinson of Bardin, several nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend, Brittany Register of Palatka.
Services celebrating Amy’s life will be at 6:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Joey Floyd officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:30 P.M. until the time of services at 6:00 P.M.
