Audrey Carol McRae, 63, of Satsuma, passed from this life on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Community Hospice Bailey Family Care Center in St. Augustine following an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County and had worked for Putnam County ARC as a group home manager. Audrey was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Corrine Long, brother, Larry Long and sister, Joyce Hamby.
She is survived by her children, Chad McRae (Caroline) and Hope McRae, siblings, Cecil Long, Jr., Floretta Gause, Calvin Long, Vivian Gray and Bruce Long, grandchildren, Alex Brook Robinson (Seth), Kyle Gray, Collin McRae, Audreyana McRae, and Claire McRae.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home with Bro. Sonny Pipkins officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. until time of services.
