Beverly (Bauer) Slack passed away peacefully at Palatka Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. Born February 21, 1943 in Eau Claire WI, the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Zillman) Bauer.
She graduated from St. Mary’s College of Nursing in 1964. In 1967, she married Carl W. Slack and followed him around the world while he served in the Navy, she followed her passion as a nurse and they raised a family.
She is survived by two daughters Anna Gould and Christine Knight. She will be buried in Jackson, NH next to her son William and husband Carl.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to support the St. Mary’s School of Nursing Alumni Endowment fund. This fund provides nursing scholarships and ongoing support for St. Mary’s Nursing Education Center.
