Brenda Dale Dear, 68, of Bardin, passed from this life on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her home following a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. Brenda was a homemaker and had worked as a counter salesperson for several junkyards. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being a grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Royal “Roy” Dear, brother, Leon and sisters, Cynthia and Beverly.
She is survived by her sons, John McQuaig (Cecilia), Lee McQuaig (Melissa) and Brett McQuaig (Caitlyn), sister, Shirley Cochran (Warner), brothers, Allen Carnley (Lois), Paul Carnley (Nita) and Phillip Carnley, 6 grandchildren, Katie Marvasti, Zack McQuaig, Spencer McQuaig, Ryan McQuaig, Sabrina Bergman, and Brett Allen McQuaig, 3 great-grandchildren, Brison and Brentlee Bergman and Bodie Marvasti as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka.
