Carrie Ann Driggers, 90, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in Mannville and had lived most all her life in Putnam County. Carrie was a member of Dunham Woods Baptist Church. She had worked in sales at J.C. Penney and later worked for Hudson Pulp & Paper. Carrie had also been a manager with Jiffy Food Stores at two different locations. She was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and Palatka Christian Service Center. She enjoyed her church, crocheting, playing cards and poker as well as spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Driggers, and sons, Clifford Daniel “Danny” Driggers and Ralph McDaniels, parents, Richard and Christina Rash, siblings, Richard Miles Rash, John Fredrick “Jack” Rash, Christina Almira “Sister” Cameron, Carol Arlene Guinette, Ray Albert Rash, Cora Alma Jolly, Roy Allen Rash, Ralph Antwine Rash, Robert Arthur Rash.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Irene Wilkinson and Ilene Langston (Bruce), daughter, Beverly Ann Brantley of St. Augustine and stepdaughter, Sharon A. Smith of Texas, 11 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with Pastor Dale Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM until time of services.
