Charles “Chuck” Sanders Johnson, 63, of Salt Springs, passed from this life on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka following an extended illness. Born in Jacksonville, Chuck resided in Salt Springs for 3 years moving there from Merritt Island where he lived for 15 years. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. Chuck had worked as an electronics technician with the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years. Throughout his life, he enjoyed surfing, boating and taking rides in the forest in his Jeep.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 37 years, Theresa “Tracy” Johnson of Salt Springs, a son, Justin Ray Johnson and fiancé Savanna Cantrell of St. Louis, MO and a sister, Donna Rae Johnson of Satellite Beach.
