Obituary for Christen Marie Doane
Christen Marie Doane, 23, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at UF Health Shands in Gainesville. Born in Green Cove Springs, she had been a lifelong resident of Interlachen. Christen lived with cerebral palsy from the time she was a year and a half, but was able to find joy in life watching cartoons. She was a 2019 graduate of EH Miller School in Palatka.
Christen is survived by her mother, Juanita Boyd of Interlachen, her grandmother and devoted caregiver, Nancy Bell of Interlachen, father, Charles Scott Boyd of Green Cove Springs, siblings, Toby Boyd (LaDonna Alford), Todd Boyd , Jessie Boyd (Mummer Revels) of Interlachen, an uncle, Bobby Goudy of Interlachen, aunts, Melissa Goudy (Robert Symonds) of Keystone Heights, Tina Goudy of Interlachen, Virginia Haskins (Terry Roberts) of GA, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Christen’s life will be celebrate by her family at a later date.
