Deborah A. Downing, 65, of Interlachen, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a native of Williston, FL and had lived in Putnam County since 1965. Deborah was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Fleet Reserve Post 183 Lady Auxiliary. In her leisure time she enjoyed fishing and flower gardening and was an avid Gator fan. Deborah was happiest when spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Elliott Warren.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Downing, son, Billy Joe Downing (Brandy), mother, Barbara Reid, grandchildren, Austin Joseph Downing (Jasmine), Leigh Ann Downing Webb (Cody), Brittany Huey, Clinton Benton II, and Toni Brooke Hunnicutt, great-grandchildren, Paisley, Wallace, Kaiden, Taten, and Desaray, aunts, Betty Margaret Smith and Louise Faircloth as well as numerous other extended family members.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Johnson-Overturf Interlachen Chapel with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
