Obituary for Deborah Diane Foster

Deborah Diane “Debbie” Foster, 60, of Palatka, passed from this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a native of Orlando and had been a resident of Putnam County for more than 50 years. She was a 1978 graduate of Palatka High School. Debbie had worked as a records specialist at the Palatka Police Department for the past 5 years. She had also worked for 10 years as a radiology tech at Putnam Community Medical Center and was a waitress at Benny’s Restaurant. She had attended Francis Baptist Church. In her leisure Debbie enjoyed fishing, camping and yard sales. She also had a green-thumb and enjoyed tending to her plants. Debbie dearly loved her cats and dogs.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Solomon and an uncle, Donnie Solomon.
She is survived by her long-time special friends, Bobby and Kim Daley of Palatka, Brenda Bond of Palatka, Dorie Campo of Bostwick, Tammy Baxter of Palatka, aunt, Mable Usina (Rob) of Satsuma, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including, Jessica Solomon (David) and her children Wyatt Bolin, Ethan Bolin, Jaidyne Mann, and Jourdyn Mann.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Oak Hill West Cemetery in Palatka with Brother Ricky Bybee officiating.
Due to COVID-19, those in attendance are asked to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
