Delma Marie Harrell, 75, of Palatka, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. A native of Palatka, she lived most of her life in Putnam County. Delma had worked as a nursery attendant at Peniel Baptist Academy. She was a member of Life Church in Palatka. In her leisure time, Delma enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth W. Adcock and Essie Dupree Adcock as well as 3 sisters, Virginia Scapellati, Diane Altman and Wendy Wilkinson.
Delma is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wayne Harrell, 4 children, Vicki Rafuse (Harold) of Newberry, Wynelle Harrell (Fiance Mark Rodgers) of Bardin, Sherri Allman (Perry) of Bunnell and Richard Harrell (Debbie) of Palatka, 2 brothers, Kenny Adcock (Gloria) of Middleburg and Bryant Wilkinson of Elkton, 4 sisters, Wanda Schneider (Doug) of Kentucky, Louise Grubbs of East Palatka, Brenda Hayes of Palatka and Barbara Daughtry (Ron) of Ocala, 6 grandchildren, Amanda Jackson, Robert Fields (Alex), Joshua Fields, KaDee Carroll (Taylor), Jamie Harrell and Hollie Harrell, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services celebrating Delma’s life will be at 2:00 P.m. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Life Church in Palatka with Pastor Garry Taylor officiating.
