Edward Eugene “Eddie” Canada, Jr., 43, of St. Augustine, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at his home. Born in Naples, Florida, he was raised in Groveland and returned to St. Augustine 3 years ago from East Palatka. Eddie was a maintenance worker with Lawn Ranger in St. Augustine. He was a member of Crossroad Community Church in East Palatka. Eddie enjoyed fishing, playing video games and spending time with his family.
Eddie is survived by his companion of 20 years, Tabitha Jones, his mother, Suzanne Herndon (David), his children, Shawnee Canada, Dustin Canada, Brandon Canada, Brooklyn Canada, Gavin Canada, Nicholas Canada, a step-daughter, Kaitlyn Carr (Eric), a brother, Jeremy Clark (Danon), 2 sisters, Brandy Hart and Pat Herndon, 2 grandchildren, Cricket Carr and June Bug Carr as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services celebrating Eddie’s life will be at 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Crossroad Community Church in East Palatka with Pastor Jeff Foster officiating. Burial will be Saturday at 4:00 P.M. at Christmas Cemetery in Christmas, Florida with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating.
