Edward Paul “Ted” Coulter, 77, of Bell, Florida, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at UF Health Shands in Gainesville from injuries received in an auto accident. Born in Utica, New York he resided in Bell for the past year moving there from Gainesville where he had lived for 36 years. Ted had been employed as a maintenance worker with the Alachua County Public Housing Division for over 30 years. He had served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ted had been very active in the Gold Wing Riders Association at the Gainesville Chapter- FLIY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Woodworth Coulter and a daughter, Michelle Marie Perkins Coulter.
Ted is survived by 2 sons, Matthew Coulter (Kelly) of Bell and Michael Coulter of Gainesville, 7 siblings including a brother, Bob and a sister, Elaine, 10 grandchildren including, Jonathon, Lacy, Julia and Layla.
Services celebrating Ted’s life will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. Burial will follow at PineView Cemetery in Interlachen with military honors conducted by the U.S. Army. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until the services at 3:00 P.M.
