Elizabeth Diane Adams, 62, of Melrose, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Community Hospice - Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine following an extended illness. A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, she had lived in Putnam County most of her life and returned here in 2004 from North Carolina. Elizabeth was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked with Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Starke for many years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their various sporting activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Adams, a son, Michael Green and her parents, Thomas & Donnie Quinn.
Elizabeth is survived by 2 sons, James Green (Kristy Thomas) of Palatka, Shane Green and wife Nichole of Interlachen, the father of her sons, James Green of Florahome and 8 grandchildren, Jackson Green, Bodie Green, Bryce Green, Azarius Green, Athan Green, Ayden Green, Lillian Covell and Emahlie Covell.
A viewing and receiving of friends will be held this Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 2 – 4 P.M. at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka.
