Obituary for Eugene McFarland Jr.
Eugene “Mark” McFarland, Jr., passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Houma, LA and was a resident of Montegut, LA. Eugene spent many years as a truck driver for Atlas Van Lines where he made many friends and cherished memories with his family. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his daughters, Regina Paige and MaKayla McFarland, and Marylynne Marcel, siblings, Sandy Wilkinson, Brenda Strickland, Janyce Horton, Ronald Boudreaux, John McFarland, Jeffery McFarland, mother of his children, Mary McFarland and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alida Maria Darcey and Eugene “Mack” McFarland, Sr., daughter, Regina Marie McFarland, siblings, Druis Jr. and Charles, and JoAnn Boudreaux and Lucia Rogers, niece, Stacy Boudreaux and nephew, Druis Boudreaux, III.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
