He is survived by his wife Dot; his son, Frank W. Cone, Jr. of Mayo, Florida; and his grandsons, David W. Cone (Rachel) of Tallahassee and Matthew P. Cone of Palatka. He also leaves a legacy in his great-grandchildren: Emmeline, Folsom, Lillian, and Jackson.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Mayola Cone, and his brothers, Grover "Bumpy" Cone, Jr., and Luther "Tiny" Cone.
