Gerald L. “T.J.” Drescher, III, 39, of Palatka, passed from this life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in St. Augustine, FL and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. He attended Palatka High School and had worked as a mechanic. T.J. enjoyed hunting, fishing at the beach with his family and friends and especially loved working with his father as a mechanic on the farm.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lacey Drescher, daughter, Kylie Drescher, mother and stepfather, Amy and Jim Hart, father and stepmother, Gerald “Tinker” Drescher, Jr. (Sheila Schippers), and brothers, Jeremy Drescher and Jerrid Drescher, as well as his grandmother, Nancy Elizabeth Guess.
Services will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Southside Baptist Church in Palatka with Pastor Shaun Thomas officiating.
