Obituary for Gordon Wayne Carter
Gordon Wayne Carter, 62, of East Palatka, entered into Eternity on February 20, 2022, at UF Health Shands in Gainesville following an extended illness. Wayne loved fishing and bon fires.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Carter, son, Joshua Carter, father, Daniel G. Carter and sister, Cathy Loadholtz.
He is survived by his children, James W. Carter, Derek Buss, Ciara Carter (Cody), stepdaughters, Rachel (Ryan), and April (Justin), mother, Kathleen Carter,12 grandchildren, brothers, John (Danielle), David (Gail), and James (Crystal), sister, Nancy (Weldon), as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special thank you to his favorite niece, Daisy Krueger, for all the care and support she willingly gave.
A celebration of life will be held at the boat ramp in Summer Haven (granny’s hole), at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022.
