Roland Pacetti, 84, passed away on October 22, 2022 at Bailey Family Hospice Center. He was born on March 10, 1938 in St. Augustine, FL. He was a 1956 graduate of Hastings High School and moved shortly after to Palatka where he resided the rest of his life. In 1966, he opened the Roland Pacetti Realty office in Palatka and remained in the real estate business until recently.
He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He considered his family his greatest accomplishment. An avid outdoorsman, Roland enjoyed time on the river fishing or turkey and deer hunting in the woods with friends and family. Over the years Roland was involved with the Jaycees, Florida National Guard, Palatka Mens’ Golf Association and the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors.
Roland is preceded in eternal rest by his parents Eddie and Estelle Pacetti and sister Barbara Cupples. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Glenda Pacetti, children Kristi Pacetti Cushman, Brett Pacetti (Patsy) and Sean Pacetti (Amy), siblings Jeneane Lagassee, Terry Pacetti (Joyce), David Pacetti and Diana Siddon, grandchildren Paige Pacetti Watts (Brian), Ansley Pacetti, Cassidy Cushman, Asa Pacetti and Ava Pacetti, great grandchildren Weslyn Watts and Brenten Watts as well as numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka, FL at 1 p.m. with pastors Benny Reynolds and Terry Wright officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11-1 preceding the service.
