Jeffrey Hunter Mundy died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and sons on September 11, 2022, after a two-year battle with lung cancer.
Jeff was born July 23, 1953 on Parks Air Force Base in California, but grew up in Bloomington, IN, where his family had deep roots. Jeff loved the quarries and the rolling hills and forests of southern Indiana, which shaped his appreciation of nature. He and his wife met in Bloomington and moved to Palatka FL in 1989.
Jeff was a stay-at-home dad who lovingly raised and nurtured his sons. His joys in life included his sons, photography, and sharing his favorite sports with his family: Formula One racing and English Premier League soccer, even when his beloved Tottenham Hotspurs blew another lead. He loved blue grass music, played guitar and composed his own original songs.
Jeff is survived by Christine Mundy, wife of 31 years, sons Hunter and Duncan of Palatka FL, brother Mark Mundy and niece Tracy Speicher of Bloomington, IN.
No services are planned at this time.
If you wish to honor his memory, please consider a donation to the Haven Hospice Foundation or Putnam First Cancer Fund of Palatka FL.
