Jerome L. “Jerry” “JT” Turner, 69, of Palatka, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness. He was a native of Putnam County and had lived here for the past 50 years coming from Keystone Heights. Jerry was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a logger for many years. He was an avid Gator fan and enjoyed fishing. Jerry especially loved spending time with his grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Ana Turner, son, Travis Jordan Turner, parents, Bill and Bobbi Turner and sister, Valerie Turner.
He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Smith (CD), sister, Kendall Johnson, grandsons, Grayson and Gunner Smith, nephew, Adam Johnson (Jennifer), niece, Maranda Gonzalez as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
A celebration of life for Ana and Jerry will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Coventry Oaks in Palatka. All family members and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177.
