Obituary for Jerry Lee Broadrick

Jerry Lee Broadrick, 63, of Palatka, passed from this life on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine following a brief illness. A native of Eustis, he moved to Palatka in 1964 and was a 1976 graduate of Palatka South High School. Jerry had worked in sales with Beck Automotive and then as safety manager with New Castle Ship Builders. More recently he had worked in sales with Futch’s Power Depot in Keystone Heights. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and golfing and would spend hours working in his garden. Family was everything to Jerry and he cherished time spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Kitty Broadrick.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Monica Bankhardt Broadrick of Palatka, his daughter, Chelsea Young (Frank) of Marathon, FL, 2 brothers, Daniel Summersill (Katie) of Largo and Carl Summersill (Diane) of Arab, AL , a sister Allene Cressy (Steve) of Spring Hill and a granddaughter, Sophia Young. Also very special to Jerry was his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin Keith (Debbie) and nephew Nicholas Keith (Brittany) and their daughter, Victoria Keith, all of St. Augustine.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
