JoAnn Jean Gallagher, 73, of San Mateo, passed from this life on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center following a brief illness. A native of Mansfield, Ohio, she resided in San Mateo since 1991 moving there from Summerville, Ohio. Years ago, JoAnn worked as the shoe department manager with Hills Department Store in Middletown, OH and had also sold Tupperware and Home Interiors. In more recent years, JoAnn was a homemaker and cherished time spent with family and especially her grandchildren. Being with family at Christmas was a time of the year JoAnn always looked forward to. She was a member of the First Church of God in Palatka.
JoAnn is survived by her husband Charles, a son and his wife, a daughter and her fiancé, a brother and his family, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the First Church of God in Palatka with Pastor John Miles officiating.
