Obituary

John Garner Infinger, 87, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Monday, August 10, 2020 at his home from natural causes. He was a native of Freeport and had lived in Putnam County for the past 10 years coming from DeFuniak Springs. John enjoyed family gatherings, antique cars, walks on the beach, and his beloved Jack Russell, “Bud”. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his children, Barbara and Kathlene Infinger.
He is survived by his children, Brenda Kampe (Fred), Felicia Butler (Ben), Cynthia Cochran (Allen), Terry Owen Sellers (Beth), Michael Infinger (Donna) and Dewayne Infinger, brother, Roosevelt Infinger, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill East Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
