John Randall Robinson, 49, of Hastings, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home following an extended illness. He was a native of Jacksonville and had lived in Hastings since 2012. John had owned and operated a lawn care and maintenance company and was an all-around handyman. He attended Life Church in Palatka and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Hogan Robinson, brother, Harvey Robinson and sister, Melissa Cook.
He is survived by his spouse and wife of 18 years, Bethany Robinson, children, Jacob Robinson, Dillan Robinson, Malia Robinson, Zane Robinson, Blake Robinson and one on the way, all of Hastings, father, Robert Robinson of Hilliard, half-brother, Norman Robinson of Alabama, brother-in-law, Rance “Lurch” Cook of Jacksonville as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel with Bro. Jeremy Rea officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Cemetery in Manville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
