On Monday, May 31, 2021, Karen Clayton, loving wife and mother of three, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 63. Karen was born on November 4, 1957 in Miami, FL to Ernest and Dorothy Jenner. She graduated from Interlachen High in 1975, where she met the love of her life, Terry Clayton. They married October 23, 1982.
Karen had a passion for painting, crocheting, and sewing. Her creative talents were admired by many. She was known for her kind and compassionate spirit.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Jenner.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Jenner, husband, Terry Clayton, children, Kary Clayton, Ryan Clayton and Tracy Kanouse (Matt), sisters, Barby Burgoyne (Buddy), Juli Jenner, and Christa Jenner, brothers, Mike Sills (Suzy) and Scott Jenner (Hua), grandchildren, Ava Clayton, Braelyn Clayton, Nash Kanouse, Zade Clayton, and Kane Kanouse as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with Pastor Chris White officiating.
