Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Siemiatkoski, 63, of Palatka, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at her home following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, she attended Palatka Central High School. Kathy worked a number of places over the years including at K-Mart, Silver Lake Grocery, C P Deli, Dollar General and Peacock Nursery in Florahome. She had been a member of the Pentecostal Revival Center. Kathy loved being around people and volunteered at the Bread of Life in Palatka for the past 4 years. She also enjoyed being a homemaker, bird-watching and especially loved working with plants.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wyatt Driggers, a sister, Donna Wilson and a brother, Richard Driggers.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Siemiatkoski of Palatka, her mother, Janet Bush Driggers of Palatka, a daughter, Jo Leigh Cooley (Michael) of Palatka, 2 sons, Robbie Siemiatkoski (Kendall) of Interlachen and Justin Siemiatkoski (Marlena) of Palatka, 2 sisters, Darlene Sweat (Jerry) of Bardin and Gail Smith (George) of Hollister, a brother, David Driggers (Shelly Thompson) of St. Augustine, a grandchild, Kason Kirkland and her many special friends from the Bread of Life.
Services celebrating Kathy’s life will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. Burial will follow at Palatka Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M.
