Kenneth Earl Stone, 64, of Starke and formerly of Bardin, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at his home from natural causes. He was a native of East Palatka and had lived in Starke for the past 2 years coming from Bardin. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and was of the Baptist faith. In his leisure time, Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising hogs.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Evelyn Stone, son, James Stone, daughter, Brandy Sheppard (Wendy), mother, Alma Stone, brothers, Bobby and Billy stone, and granddaughter, Kylee Sheppard.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Glenn Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
