Obituary for Leola Faye Johnson

Leola Faye Johnson crossed the veil to be with Jesus Thursday March 16th in Palatka Florida. This beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great- Grandmother will be greatly missed. Lee was born in Palatka to a large, beautiful family and was an identical twin. She grew up in Keystone Heights and graduated from Keystone Heights High School. She worked for the State of Florida in the DCF division for 30+ years.
She is preceded in death by her father Harold Ridaught, Sr. and mother, Winona Rountree Ridaught. Also, her fur baby, Tipper.
To cherish her memory are her siblings, Leslie Ridaught Jr. (Evelyn), Joann O’Grady, Kathy Scates, Sandy (Perman) Roberts, Viola (Rodney) Paul and June Cassala, sons, Richard (Leah) Sipprell their children, Madison (Cody) Sipprell and Clayton (Emilee) Sipprell, Jack (Sonya) Sipprell and their children, Larry (Linda) Cain, Christy (Daniel) Webb, Crystal ( Howard) Sipprell and their grandchildren , Cainan Welch, John Underwood and Annabelle Underwood and many nieces/nephews and numerous extended family members.
The homecoming service will be held at Woodlawn Baptist Church at 11:00 am Saturday, April 15th with Brother L.D. Osteen leading the service. There will be no graveside service, but a reception will be held following the service at Sipprell Farms, 616 North Ivy Ave in Florahome. All family and friends are invited to come eat, laugh, and celebrate Lee’s life.
