Obituary for Lisa Kilpatrick

Lisa Lynette Kilpatrick, 58, of Palatka, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her home following an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka. Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Palatka High School and was of the Baptist faith. She had worked at Dairy Queen for 5 years and had also worked as a cashier at Publix for 9 years. Lisa was a member of Woodmen of the World Chapter #7 of Palatka and enjoyed flower gardening, and trips to the beach. She especially enjoyed cookouts around a bonfire and spending time with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney V. Gornto and Jean Gornto, In-Laws, Earl L. & Glenese Moody and brother-in-law, Roy Wynn.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dean Kilpatrick, son, Troy Kilpatrick both of Palatka, brother, Sidney D. Gornto (Crystal) of Jones, OK, sister-in-law, Paula Kilpatrick-Wynn of Palatka, and father-in-law, Gerald Kilpatrick of Gastonia, NC.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Willie McKinnon and Carlis Lott officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill West Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 pm until time of services.
