Obituary for Louisa Emilia Carter

Louisa Emilia Carter, also known as Weezie, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 of natural causes. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James “Andy” Carter, daughters, Jamie Carter, Emily Hall (Chris Hall) and Stacy Carter, mother, Margaret Rojas, siblings, Victor Echeverria (Laura), Lucy Ferrell, Cristina Echeverria and Joyce Charles, grandchildren, Andria Hansford, Allison Stokes, James Brown, Emilia Tippett, Timothy Tippett, Blake Hall and Damon Hall as well as one great-grandchild, Ava Beauboeuf.
Louisa was born in New Orleans, LA on June 12, 1961. She lived in Jefferson Parrish and attended Grace King and Bonnabel High School and graduated in 1979. After high school Louisa worked in office settings where her drive and intelligence helped her to excel in a time where women struggled in the workforce. After her marriage and children Louisa became a homemaker and enjoyed coordinating things for her family, which she did to her very last day.
Currently no services are planned. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
