Marcia Myra Grover, 88, of Salt Springs, passed from this life on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Ocala Health & Rehab Center following an extended illness. A native of Bath, New York, Marcia resided in Salt Springs for 35 years coming from Bath, NY. She had worked as a machine operator with Westinghouse (North American Phillips). Marcia had been a volunteer with the Eagles Club Auxiliary and served as President and also with VFW Post 10208 women’s auxiliary where she served as Secretary and Treasurer. In her leisure time, Marcia loved Karaoke gardening, taking cruises and going to yard sales.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 16 years, Harry D. Grover, her parents, John Payne and Grace Haley Payne as well as 2 brothers, Nelson and Norman Payne.
Marcia is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon Walker of Salt Springs and Terry Seager (Tom) of Myrtle Beach, SC, a son, Gary Clark (Lori) of Port Orange, a brother, Mort Payne of Ocala, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Salt Springs Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tom Reamsnyder officiating.
