Marilyn Belden Williams, 77, of Bostwick, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness. She was a native of Warren, OH and had lived in Putnam County for the past 61 years coming from Mecca, OH. Marilyn had worked as a hairdresser for many years and was a member of Bostwick Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marilyn was loved and will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Clyde O. “Pratt” Williams II, children, Clyde O. "Slick" Williams III (Elizabeth), Dawn Baggs, Dana Graham (Kevin), sisters, Linda Glisson (Elzy), Debbie Hall (Paul), Jackie Thomas (Charles), and Joyce Bell, 9 grandchildren, as well as 8 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Bostwick Baptist Church with Bro. David Eddins officiating. Burial will follow in Bostwick Cemetery. No public visitation is scheduled.
