Obituary for Mary L Dinger
Mary Dinger, 86, of San Mateo, FL passed peacefully at home with her husband by her side on October 9, 2022. She grew up in Appleton, WI. After graduating high school she joined the Marine Corp. After her service in the Marine Corp, Mary resided in Charleston, WV, Palatka, FL and finally in San Mateo, FL.
While living in Florida she worked at Hudson Pulp & Paper, Florida State Employment Service and Putnam County Tax Collector where she retired in 1998. Mary enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing and R.V.’ing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Hermine Merkel, sister, Margaret Groves and brothers, Bill and Tom Merkel all of Appleton, WI.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Dinger of San Mateo, FL and daughter, Sarah McKeown of Tampa, FL.
