Mary Katherine Green, 67, of Palatka, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Jacksonville, FL and had lived in Putnam County since 2019 coming from South Carolina. Mary was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Green, Sr., sons, Donnie E. Green and Randall D. Green, siblings, Sydney Flannigan (Fred), Sandra Taylor (Buck) and William V. Thompson, brother-in-law, Bill Taylor as well as 2 grandchildren, Audrey and Alexis.
She is survived by her children, Cathy Bearden (Jimmy), Markus Green, Brian Green (Christy) and Carl Green, Jr., sisters, Linda Taylor and Dianne Bowen (Floyd), grandchildren, Heaven (Jake), Matthew, Brandy, David, Jimmy Lee, Tayana, Joey, Tyler, Mason, Jaxson, Steven, Travis, Andrew, Dylan, Austin, James, Lily, Ian, Noah, Levi, Kyle, Savannah, Cody, Brenden, Taylor, Dustin and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Ryleigh, Tyson, Taleigh, Jojo, Cienna, Dominic, Colby, Emma-Lee, River, John David , Brayden Lee, Grace Alana-Rose, Noel, Everleigh Rose, Skylar, Christian, Paisley, Carleigh, Ava, Waylon, Brayden Allen, Grace, Seraphina, Evie, Olen, and Aubrey as well as her fur babies, Snuggles and Tippy.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
