Mary O. Haddock, 91, of Palatka, passed from this life on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Putnam Caregivers following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Mary was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Palatka. She had served as a Sunday School Teacher and had been active in the GA’s and WMU. Among her interests were sewing, reading, cooking and baking and working puzzles. Mary also loved time at the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Marion C. Haddock and a brother, Jimmy Odom.
Mary is survived by a son Clay Haddock (Joanie) of Palatka, a daughter, Karen Bisso of Savannah, GA, son-in-law, Paul Bisso of Guyton, GA, 2 grandchildren, Suzanne Haddock Nash (Jared) of Gainesville and Sarah Bisso Bennett (J.B.) of Atlanta, GA and 2 great-grandchildren, Brooks Nash and Abigail Bennett.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Oak Hill West Cemetery with Dr. Robert J. Mills officiating. No public visitation is scheduled.
