MaryLou Feagin, 78, of Palatka, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. MaryLou was of the Baptist faith and grew up attending Bethany Baptist Church in Bardin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing BINGO. MaryLou was happiest when spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James “Jim” Feagin, brother, James Tillis, and sisters, Evelyn, Thelma, Estelle, Doris, Lillie and Leona.
She is survived by her sons, Dale Feagin (Beth) and Danny Feagin (Sandy), daughters, Donna MacClellan, Dana Bradley (David), and Lois Williams (Josh), brother, J. W. Tillis, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka, with Bro. Glen Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill West Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
