Obituary for Michael David Golden

Michael David Golden, 60, of Interlachen, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 1, 2022 at his home from natural causes. Born in Washington, D.C., he resided in Interlachen for 32 years coming from Orlando. A 1979 graduate of Potomac High School in Temple Hill, Maryland, Michael graduated from the Culinary Arts Program at the St. Augustine Vocational Tech School. He had worked as the chef at Vintage Care Senior Living in Palatka, Oak Leaf Assisted Living in Jacksonville and was currently working with Ponte Vedra Gardens Assisted Living. In his leisure time, Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Marie Golden and his parents, Gerald Golden and Eleanor Ginsberg Golden.
Michael is survived by 3 daughters, Megan Brown of Jacksonville, Victoria Golden and Makayla Golden both of Interlachen, 2 sisters, Phyllis Golden of Culpepper, VA and Diane Golden Ryan-Adams (Brad) of Lakeland and a granddaughter, Aria Brown.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with burial to follow at PineView Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M.
