Monique Renee Langford, 49, of Palatka, passed from this life on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Advent Health in Palm Coast. She was a native of Asheville, NC and was a lifelong resident of Putnam County. She had worked as a sales associate for Wal-Mart and ABC Liquor. Monique attended Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to the beach, touring St. Augustine and loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Angela Marie Stone.
She is survived by her children, Jennie Goodman (fiancé, Jeremy Cooper) of Satsuma, and Kenneth Lee Wortman of St. George, SC, father, Robert “Rob” Langford of Palatka, brother, James Kennemen (Tabitha) of Satsuma, sister, Sara Stone of East Palatka, grandmother, Patricia Ann Machek of Palatka, aunt, Serena Machek of Palm Coast, grandson, Cason Cooper, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Terry Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m. until time of services.
