Nancy Lee Nemitz, 89, of Palatka, passed from this life on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital following an extended illness. She was a native of Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Putnam County for many years coming from Sarasota. Nancy had worked as an Art teacher in Sarasota County. She loved the Lord and was a member of St. John the Divine Charismatic Episcopal Church in Palatka. In her leisure time, Nancy enjoyed art and was an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Elizabeth Olliver and her husband, Stanley Nemitz.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Nemitz (Cindi) of Sarasota, Nannette Edwards (Brian) of Tampa, and Stanley Nemitz (Janie) of Honolulu, grandchildren, Robert and Joshua Nemitz and Brian and Matthew Edwards as well as great-granddaughter, Naia Nemitz.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at St. John the Divine Charismatic Episcopal Church in Palatka with Fr. Robert Massey officiating. No public visitation is scheduled.
