Nora Christine Parrish Moran, 90, of Waverly, GA and formerly of Bardin, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Jesup Health and Rehab in Jesup, Georgia following an extended illness. She was a native of Lake Butler, FL and had lived in Waverly, GA since 1999 coming from Palatka. Christine was a former member of St. Johns Avenue Church of Christ where she enjoyed making doilies for the pillow corsage ministry and was also a member of TOPS. She had worked at several local businesses in Palatka including Johnson Sewing Factory, Burger King, Holiday Inn and Putnam Community Medical Center. After moving to Georgia, Christine worked for International Auto Processing in the Port of Brunswick retiring after 10 years of service at the age of 80. In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert J. Green and Daisy Futch Green and brother, Leo Green.
She is survived by her husband, Quinn Moran of Waverly, GA, sons, Wendell Parrish (Pam) and Dean Parrish, daughter, Cynthia Adams (Vernon) all of Palatka, sister-in-law, Jean Green of Palatka, grandchildren, Bryan Aldridge (Miranda), Cody Parrish (Ashley), Wendi Parrish, Luke Parrish, and Molly Parrish, great-grandchildren, Remington Parrish, Carter Aldridge, Charlotte Aldridge and Camryn Aldridge, Bonnie Thomas (Johnny), who was like a daughter, numerous nieces and nephews as well as her fur babies, Maggie and Grizzy.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Palatka Memorial Gardens.
