Obituary for Imogene Floyd

Imogene Floyd, 93, of Hawthorne and formerly of Rome, Georgia, passed from this life on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Putnam Community Medical Center. Born in Centre, Alabama, Imogene was the Vice-President of Administration at Integrated Products, Inc. (yarn manufacturer) located in Rome, Georgia. She also served as corporate secretary and as a director. In addition, she was secretary/treasurer and director of National Sales, Inc., the selling agent for Integrated Products, Inc. Imogene served as the President of the Rome Business and Professional Women’s Club. On the state level, she was director of the Seventh District. Imogene was a charter member of the Rome Secretary Club, a member of the Seven Hills Toastmistress Club and a member of Beta Sigma Phi for over 50 years. She also served as President of the Rome City Council. Imogene was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Johnson for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carlton Horton Floyd, Jr. on Feb. 27, 2007 and by her mother, Clara Montine Moseley on April 2, 2003.
Imogene is survived by a daughter, Kathy Lynne Eaddy and her husband, Vance, four step-granddaughters and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
