Pamela Sue Daugherty, 64, of Satsuma, passed from this life on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Ravenna, OH and had lived in Putnam County since 1990. Pam was a Registered Nurse and had worked 25 years with Putnam Community Medical Center as well as 15 years with Dr. Ainsworth. In her leisure time, Pam enjoyed anything with the water and boating. She especially enjoyed offshore fishing and went several times a year. Pam spent lots of time with her grandkids and also enjoyed going to concerts and theme parks.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Howard Daugherty and parents, Howard and Nancy Schwinn.
She is survived by her son, Steven Daugherty of Satsuma, daughter, Danyell Daugherty of San Mateo, sisters, Joni Holloway and Bonnie Beetler both of Ravenna, OH and Andrea Anderson of Shaker Heights, OH, mother-in-law, Martha Daugherty of Welaka as well as 6 grandchildren, Jacob Douglas, Olivia Douglas, Katelynn Daugherty, Emily Roark, Steven Daugherty, Jr., and Stephenie Daugherty.
Services celebrating Pam’s life will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Ricky Bybee officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 4:00 pm until time of services.
