Patricia Joanne Harden, 87, of Palatka, passed from this life on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Solaris Healthcare Palatka following an extended illness. She was born in East Palatka, FL and had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County. She was a 1951 graduate of Mellon High School and had worked as an operator at Southern Bell for several years. Joanne was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Palatka as well as the Palatka Woman’s Club.
She is preceded in death by her husband Nelson E. “Nicky” Harden, Jr. and parents, Joseph A. Hughes and Jeanette Browning Hughes.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Ditto (Mike) of Satsuma, brother, Joseph Hughes (Cecilia) of Hollister, and 2 grandchildren, Sean Michael Ditto and Corey Alan Ditto.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Lyda officiating. No public visitation is scheduled.
