Peggy Sue Howell, 39, of Interlachen, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Putnam Community Medical Center. Born in West Palm Beach, Peggy was raised in Orlando and resided in Putnam County since 1994 coming from West Palm Beach. In years past, Peggy had worked as a waitress. She was a member of New Life Angel Church in Orlando. Peggy will be remembered as having an outgoing personality and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy Jean Mellette of Interlachen, her children, Michael James Crum of Bowling Green, FL, Kirsten Jane Knowles, Johnny Jarvis and Dylan Lee Byrd, all of Interlachen, her siblings, Steven Douglas Heath of Interlachen, Samuel Alvin Mellette of Interlachen, Stacy Blue Mellette of Tampa, Dorothy Annette Gasser of Interlachen, Bobbie Jean Howell of Orlando, Mark Anthony Mellette of Interlachen, Faith Ann Mellette of Keystone Heights and Dawn Michelle Lamb of Interlachen, half-brothers and sisters, Richard Howell, Patty Stanislawski and Kathy Rubio, all of West Palm Beach, 3 step-brothers, Randall Lamb, Wayne Lamb and Jerry Lamb and a step-sister, Tammy Stone.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 4, 2022 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Interlachen with Pastor Lola Sams officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
