Phyllis Rogero Greer, 72, of San Mateo, passed from this life on Friday, April 29, 2022 at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka. A native of Palatka, Phyllis moved back to Putnam County in 2016 from Orange City and Winter Garden where she had resided for over 40 years. She had worked 29 years as an administrative Secretary in the public school system in Orange City. Phyllis was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Elkton. In her leisure time, she enjoyed fishing, gardening and was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William C. Rogero and Myrle Triay Rogero.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Bernard Greer, 2 sons, James Matthew Greer and Travis Eugene Greer, 3 brothers, Bill Rogero (Betsy), Albert Rogero (Donna) and Jim Rogero (Pat) and 2 grandchildren, Aubree Greer and Alivia Greer.
Memorial services celebrating Phyllis’s life will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Elkton with Father Steven Zehler as officiant. Interment will follow at San Mateo Cemetery.
