Obituary for Phyllis Mullis Lineberger

Phyllis Mullis Lineberger, 72, of Palatka, passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. She was born at Glendale Hospital in Palatka, FL. Phyllis was employed by Miller Enterprises and later worked many years for Atlantic Bank as well as Publix Supermarkets. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with family, cooking and traveling. She had a special affinity for exploring grocery stores in different states and towns. Phyllis also enjoyed flower gardening in her beautiful yard, shopping and collecting Disney collectables.
She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life of 43 years, Harold L. Lineberger, parents, William “Bill” and Ruth F. Mullis.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Kay Nesbitt, sister, Anna Burney (Les), granddaughter, Maggie Grace Nesbitt, special niece, Amber Symonds and her children, Abby and Blake, special nephew, Jack Burney (Mandy) and their children, Jacob and Natalie, along with several other special nieces and nephews, and special friend, Callie Wilkinson.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Palatka Memorial Gardens with Bro. Dominic Marano and Bro. Jason Sharp officiating. No public visitation is scheduled.
