Obituary for Priscilla Ann "Prissy" Parker

Priscilla Ann “Prissy” Parker, 51, of Palatka, passed from this life on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital following a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. Priscilla was a 1988 graduate of Palatka High School and grew up attending the Pentecostal Revival Center. In addition to being a homemaker, Prissy had worked for the Clerk of Courts from 1990-2002 and was the manager of Rodman Plantation for the past 5 years. Prissy enjoyed babysitting and helping raise numerous children in the community. She also served as a board member for Bread of Life. In her leisure time, Prissy enjoyed walking on the beach and decorating wedding events.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Alvin Kerce, and sisters, Lori Kerce and Lynda Hayes.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Royce Parker of Palatka, children, Landen Royce Parker, Brady Payne Parker, both of Palatka and Lindsey Creel (Dalton) of Seville, mother, Elizabeth Ann Kerce of Palatka, siblings, Sherry Jones (Bill), Jimmy Kerce (Sissy), both of Palatka, and Karen Taylor (Lee) of Ash Flat, AR, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Peggy Parker, brother-in-law, Rodney Parker (Laurie) of Palatka and sister-in-law, Karen Parkison (Lee) of Riceville, TN.
Services celebrating Prissy’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Christ Independent Methodist Church in Palatka with Rev. Michael Hudson and Rev. Amos Price officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
